LUKE LANGBEEN

At a very early age, Luke Langbeen was exposed to the family’s construction business. When necessary, Scott Langbeen would bring Luke to a job site where they worked alongside each other hauling lumber, removing debris, and unloading equipment and tools. Hard work was and remains a perpetual lifestyle for the Langbeen family. This deep-seated value along with industry knowledge, quality construction, and an experienced staff has made Langbeen Builders one of the most successful and respected builders in Brunswick County, N.C.

Luke Langbeen, Langbeen Builders

Today Luke is still working together with Scott, but his role at Langbeen Builders has morphed since his childhood. In 2017, Luke graduated from University of North Carolina, Wilmington, N.C. with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and re-entered Langbeen Builders with a new perspective on the family business.

Luke is the first point of contact for a client. He handles the initial client meeting which undercovers the client’s needs, wants, concerns, budget, timeframe . . . Once a Langbeen client, Luke prepares the building estimate, contract, and work schedules. In addition to client-facing interactions, Luke puts his business knowledge to work by managing every project’s budget, forecasting cash flow analyses, and recommending infrastructure changes.

Luke has set out to not only grow the business but develop processes and systems that will streamline the business and enhance the customer experience. He is currently working on building out standardized selections for clients. This would allow clients to have “one stop” shopping for interior and exterior selections, eliminating the need to visit numerous third-party suppliers. Luke’s end goal is to foster a stress-free working relationship that makes clients’ lives easier and the building experience more enjoyable.
